JOIN US FOR THE FIRST LIVE RECORDING SESSION OF 2012 AND A NIGHT OF FIRSTS
This is going to be a performance of firsts. On Monday, January 23rd at the Kirkland Performance Center we'll be opening the 2012 season of live recordings sessions with the very first Harry Nile story to feature not one, not two but three of the homicide detectives who usually share the story with our boy one at a time. However, in this episode they'll all be together for the first time in the history of the show. You'll want to be there when Nick Bellano (John Patrick Lowrie), Lou Butterfield (Stephen Weyte) and the latest face in Harry's police lineup, Meeker (Terry Rose) all descend on Harry and Murphy to get help at being the first one to solve a murder. Plus there's will be an extra first we're not telling anyone about.
Following the break Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson return to investigate the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle classic mystery "The Man With the Twisted Lip." This is the only one of the short stories that Watson's wife Mary appeared in. However, because Doyle never named Watson's next wife whom he married after Mary passed away some years earlier, we decided to make her Kate Whitney and she's been played twice now in the Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Cynthia Lauren Tewes. In this classic tale it is Kate, once again played by Cynthia, who comes to Watson and Mary for help with her then husband Isa. This will be the first time that both of the doctor's wives, present and future will share the stage in the American broadcasting history of Sherlock Holmes.
As we've said a night of firsts that only Jim French and Imagination Theatre can bring you. So join us January 23rd at The Kirkland Performance Center 350 Kirkland Ave. Door s open at 7:00 PM with t he show starting at 7:30. For tickets you can call the box office at 425 893 9900 or go online to www.kpcenter.org. If you're feeling lucky you can purchase tickets at the door.
